Ch Salilyn's Sheer Magic was imported from the USA in 1994 as a puppy. "Zillah" achieved Top Winning ESS bitch in South Africa in 1996 when she was only 2 years old, and retained the title through her entire show career. She was in the top 100 dogs in South Africa for three straight years, from 1997 to 1999.

Zillah was bred by the late Julie Gasow in the USA and was sired by Ch Salilyn's Condor ("Robert"), winner of Best in Show at the prestigious Westminster Kennel Club (USA) in 1992. Zillah's full litter sister, Ch Salilyn N Erin's Shameless ("Samantha"), was the top Sporting Dog in the USA in 1998 and 1999, and also achieved the remarkable by following in her father's footsteps and going BIS at Westminster in 2000.

At her first show as a Veteran, Zillah won the Veteran's Challenge at the prestigious Goldfields Kennel Club show in August 2001, and took Reserve Veteran in Show at her next two competitions.

Zillah will be remembered both as a stunning show dog and a loving and much beloved member of the family.

She was the dog of a lifetime. May she continue to shine over the Rainbow Bridge.
